On Tuesday evening, June 15th, the Ann Arbor Track Club hosted their annual summer track mini-meet. Both club members and non-members were welcome to participate. The meet attracted over 40 male and female runners from ages 13 to 67 who competed under ideal conditions on the University of Michigan track.
Six events were offered along with the option to compete in a Hepthalon (all 6 events). The Hepthalon award winners were determined by using an age graded formula which provided a "level playing field" for all athletes.
Many of the participants are already looking forward to the club's next mini-meet to be held in December at the University of Michigan's indoor track.
