PREMIERE SHOWING OF MY RUN, INSPIRATIONAL RUNNING MOVIE

The Ann Arbor Track Club has gone Hollywood!  On Thursday, March 31, 2011, please join the Ann Arbor Track Club for a special screening in support of the inspirational documentary film, MY RUN.  This film documents the story of 57 year-old Terry Hitchcock, who ran 75 consecutive marathons in 75 consecutive days, an incredible achievement.  The film is coming to Ann Arbor on March 31st for a one-night only screening.  By special arrangement with the film’s award-winning producer, Mark Castaldo, the Ann Arbor Track Club will have an on-screen credit in the film!

All AATC members are invited to join us on the 31st for this special event at the Quality 16 Theatres, 3686 Jackson Road, Ann Arbor, Michigan 48103 (Telephone:  734-827-2863).  The movie will begin at 7:00 P.M.  The Quality 16 website indicates that adult tickets for movies showing after 6:00 P.M. cost $9.50, although the price may differ for special events.  Here is a link to the Quality 16 website for tickets to this film:

Many running clubs like ours will be watching this film on the 31st at theatres across the country.  The producer has indicated that running clubs whose members buy their tickets now (before March 31st) will receive some goodies.  We are encouraging all Ann Arbor Track Club members who attend this special event to wear their Ann Arbor Track Club apparel for a group photo immediately after the screening.  The photo will be uploaded to the MY RUN Facebook Fan page, and we will be given special recognition on the Fan page for our group photo.
