Responsibilities include:
- tracking and monitoring overall revenues and expenses
- processing deposits and payments for AATC sponsored races
- liaison with Race Directors on all financial processes
- ensuring that the AATC meets all non-profit financial requirements
- completing and filing annual federal Tax Form 990 & annual Michigan return
- creating annual budget and tracking budget to actual
- issuing monthly reports for AATC Board of Directors
Minimum qualifications:
- 10 years experience in the role of accountant
- Certified Public Accountant
- significant experience working with small businesses or organizations
- knowledgeable of non-profit financial requirements
- interest and belief in the mission of the Ann Arbor Track Club
- willingness to charge lower fees to reflect non-profit nature of AATC
