Park at the trail head at the parking lot below U-M Medical Center. DRIVE MAP Check out the Arb trails map for details. On the east end of the Arb, cut-over (across the railroad tracks) into Gallup Park. down to the wooden bridge and crossover. Back through Furstenburg Park to Fuller Court, through the VA parking structure, and into North Campus. Head behind the School of Music take the trails up to the dormitory complex, then head down to the river. Then diagonal Mitchell Field, then cross the foot bridge, then cross the railroad track, then head back to the start. You'll find many interesting variations. The trails in the Arb and near Cedar Bend Park can be very challenging. As shown, this is about 6-7 miles.

If you do this early Sunday afternoon, the North Campus bell tower is open for visitors during the 1:15 performance. Take the elevator to the top, touch the bells, talk to the player, and enjoy the view.
