The Ann Arbor Track Club
is proud to host the 26th annual For Women Only (“FWO”) 5K - a 3.1
mile celebration of fitness that empowers, inspires and strengthens women of all
ages and athletic abilities. Our race headquarters will be the Ellen Thompson
Women's Health Center on the campus of the St. Joseph Mercy Health System in Ann
Arbor. Our flat & fast course transverses the campus of St. Joseph Mercy
Hospital. Please note that due to insurance regulations, no baby strollers or
baby joggers are permitted on the course Gault Race Management will provide
accurate timing through use of the ChampionChip. We thank the
Saint Joseph Mercy Women's Health Services for their continued support.

T-Shirts:
The first 800 registered
participants will receive a "Cool Cats" Women's Technical T-Shirt with the
unique Marty Betts Design ($25.00 retail value!)
Cool Cats performance
fabric is silky soft and lighter than cotton. It is a breathable micro-vent knit
that wicks moisture away from skin. This technical fabric is machine washable,
dryer safe, and it is pill-resistant.

Note: Girls on the Run
participants received a complimentary entry to this race. Sorry, but due to
budget constraints, GOTR girls will not receive a T-shirt.
Honoree: Marty Betts
Marty had contributed her
time and talent to the For Women Only race for the last 10 years by
providing the distinctive graphic designs for the race. Her beautiful
and powerful artwork expresses the significance of fitness in the lives
of women. She says she feels very fortunate to exercise BOTH of her
loves...the creative arts AND the art of running. Running has been
central focus for her, and it has helped her tremendously in all other
facets of her life. She reports that the friendships and bonds created
through running have been life-changing.

A portion of your entry fee will be donated to
one of these beneficiaries. When you register, you will be asked to select one.

Livestrong
is the Lance Armstrong Foundation, found in 1997, with a mission to inspire and
empower people affected by cancer. LAF unites people to fight cancer and pursue
an agenda focused on prevention, access to screening and care, improvement of
the quality of life for cancer survivors and an investment in research.
Safehouse Center
is a private nonprofit organization dedicated to ending domestic violence and
sexual assault in Washtenaw County. They offer free and confidential services
including shelter, a 24 hour help line, counseling, support groups, court
accompaniment, legal advocacy ,information and referrals.
Girls on the Run of Southeast Michigan
uses the power of running to change the way girls see themselves and their
opportunities. It is an innovative health education and wellness program
that uniquely combines training for a 3.1 mile run/walk event with
life-changing, self-esteem enhancing lessons that encourage healthy habits
and an active lifestyle in 8-12 year old girls.

We will not be doing the Women On the Move program this year but want to endorse
a wonderful new program run by last year’s coach, Wanda Gunderson.
Women In Motion can help you train for
the ForWomen Only 5K and provide you with a chance to train with other women.

Masters winner. Winner must be present to receive cash award.
Note:
If a Masters runner wins overall she will receive
the overall cash prize and the second place Masters runner will receive the
Masters cash prize. All other cash prizes will stay within the Masters, Grand
Masters.. groups.
