Running the Rails is Sunday, August 22nd. The 10K run only and 5K run/walk start at 8:00am (train dependent), and the 1/2mi Kids Fun Run (12 and under) starts at 9am.
The race will be held this year in conjunction with the Ypsilanti Heritage Festival.

There will be trophies for the overall male and female winners and runner-up, and 1st and 2nd place in the Masters and Youth Divisions. Age Group awards to the top 3 in each 5 year grouping. In the Kids Fun Run, there will be trophies for the overall winning boy and girl, and top two finishers in each age group (4 and under, 5-6, 7-8, 9-10, 11-12)

Online registration is at runnintherails.eventbrite.com (no typo). Cost for the Kids Fun Run is $15. For the 5 and 10K's, it's $20 through August 10th, $25 for late online registration (closes on August 20th), and $30 on the day of the race/packet pickup. All registrations include a t-shirt, and each Kid's Fun Run participant will receive a prize.


On-site registration will also take place at the Ypsilanti Jaycee's tent throughout the Heritage Festival Weekend, and at the Packet pickup on Saturday (TBA).

Race Day registration and packet pick-up is at the Corner Brewery in Ypsi starting at 6:30am.
