Ann Arbor Track & Tri Club’s annual Huron River Dr. Roadside Clean-up

Saturday, May 2th, 2008 at 8:30 A.M.  on Huron River Drive at Barton Park

Directions:  ~1 mile West of Main St. on H.R.Dr. on the north side of the road
Road construction:  Huron River Drive may be closed form Main to Bird, so you
might need to use Newport or Maple to get to Huron River Dr, not Main St.

Wear:    gloves, long pants and shoes you can get wet.

Care:    Working along roadsides can be inherently dangerous.  Be careful!
(Also keep your eyes peeled for poison ivy.  There may be some around.)

Vests:    I’ll provide orange safety vests for everyone.

Kids:    No kids under 13 please.

Food:    The club will provide bagels, donuts, and orange juice when we’re done.

Rain:    If there’s more than a sprinkle we’ll have to reschedule it to Sunday the 18th.

RSVP:    No RSVP required (but would be nice so we have enough food!) – show up and join us.  It should          only take about 2 hours.

I’m hoping for a good turnout this year as I’d like to do the entire stretch of road from Dexter
to Ann Arbor.  We’d need about 20 people to do that.  Thanks, and I hope to see you out there!
